What was the highlight of OYO 502 Roberto's Resort

Not really worth it.

There were no one outside to guard or greet people in wee hours even it was stated that they are operating 24/7. We found a gecko inside of our room. Also, I asked permission if we can stay a bit longer since we're still fixing our things, the staff said that it was okay and didn't mention the additional charges. But when we're about to leave another staff insisted that we need to pay even if I said that the other one didn't say so.

There wasn’t any positives, or just one... booking out.

Very, very basic for over 4,000PHP per day without breakfast. Towels were past their use by date. Would definitely not recommend. Penalties for anything, see photos - but we were good and not additional charges

D e owner and the manager were both very accommodating when I had to switch my room at the last minute.

The common bathroom had a funky smell.

The room smelled like fresh paint, there were stains in the sheets and the towels had seen their best days 15 years ago. It’s also pretty far from the beach so I don’t think it’s worth the money at all.

The room was VERY basic and small- no place for backpacks, the shower in the shared bathroom didn't work well, to high price for the standard you get

If nothing else is not available

The location was good for us, you could walk to Alona beach restaurants in 10minutes and to the beach in 25min. We didnt see the staff much, but they were always welcoming and nice once we did.

We ended up staying there, as everything else was booked for Chinese New Year. The room we got was TINY, with only a 120cm wide bed, with hardly any room for anything else. Also, as the bed is only max 180cm long, and closed in between walls, this wont fit anyone tall. The bathroom sitution is not great. For the dorms and the tiny rooms at least, there was only 2 bathrooms that functioned as a shower too. You could get yourself clean, but dont expect much. There is small bar at the facility, we didnt really see any people order anything there and nether did we.

What we like is the location since it is near from the beaches and restaurants... The price are cheap...

We thought that the room has a private comfort room... The receptionist is not always available.. they cannot provide official receipt since there was no receptionist that time...

I would go back again. Good people. Good vibes and nice jacuzzi.

The owner is a great person to be around along with his assistant. He is very jovial, genuine, helpful intelligent, conversational, sociable and informative. A communal kitchen to prepare your own food

They are expanding so there was a lot of day time construction starting at 8 and ending at about 4-pm. If you're an early riser no problem. Doesn't affect the grounds but kind of loud if you're a late sleeper. The place is very nice. Even better when finished.

Amenities and the accommodation falls short of my (modest) expectation.

The Queen size bed and the spacious room. Allowed to cook own food at the common kitchen.

Kitchen utensils are common, yet no dish washing soap is provided. Kitchen a bit messy. Apparently, the resort needs more people to do the maintenance & housekeeping works.
